Humanized Models

Humanized Models

Humanized mouse models are experimental animals that have been genetically modified or implanted with human cells, tissues, or genes. These models are used in biomedical research to study human diseases, test therapies, and understand biological processes. By incorporating human biological components into mice, researchers can investigate how diseases develop, how the immune system responds to treatments, and how drugs interact with human cells in a controlled laboratory setting. Humanized mouse models are valuable tools for advancing medical research and drug development, providing insights that can potentially lead to new treatments and therapies for human diseases.

Tumor Targets

Humanized tumor target mice are immunocompetent chimeric mouse models, engineered to express humanized tumor targets such as genes encoding for oncogene proteins, tumor suppressor proteins, tumor specific antigen, etc. These models can can be used to evaluate the risk of on-target, off-tumor toxicities for targeted cancer drug.
